Habitat for Humanity Lakeside values being involved in the Sheboygan and Ozaukee County communities, as well as having the communities involved with us. To help make these opportunities happen, please find out how to schedule an event below.
Scheduling Habitat for Humanity Lakeside to Speak at Your Event/Venue
Scheduling a presentation is a great way to find out about Habitat for Humanity Lakeside’s vision and mission, how you can get involved, the easiest and best way you can donate/sponsor, and how you/your organization and Habitat for Humanity Lakeside can build a partnership. Habitat for Humanity Lakeside has a variety of presentations that we share depending on the event, group, location, etc. If you would like Habitat for Humanity Lakeside to speak and share their mission at one of your functions, please contact the Community Outreach Coordinator.
Scheduling a Group Build Day at Habitat for Humanity Lakeside’s Build Site
Getting a group of your fellow co-workers, classmates, athletes, members, or whatever team you are a part of together, promotes team building and communication skills among each other, builds team moral, and, most importantly, helps a family in need! To have your group be a part of Habitat for Humanity Lakeside’s unique and rewarding home building process, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator.
Schedule to Host a ReStore Donation Drive
That’s right, we will bring our ReStore truck and park it in front of your building, or wherever else you would like, for an arranged time period if you want to host a donation drive for Habitat for Humanity Lakeside ReStores! Hosting a Donation Drive is one of the most effective ways to help the ReStore and support Habitat’s mission. Organizing your community’s donations into one easy-to-pick-up bundle saves collection costs and brings group members together for the common good. Faith groups, schools, organizations, and businesses can all collect items to donate to the ReStore. If you’re interested in organizing a Donation Drive, please contact the Executive Director.
Using the Sheboygan ReStore’s Brat Stand
The Brat Stand gives Habitat for Humanity Lakeside and other organizations a chance to partner together to raise funds that go towards worthy causes that benefit our community. Whether it be brats and lemonade in the summer, apple cider in the fall, or hot chocolate and coffee in the winter, the versatility of the stand makes it a year round opportunity. The stand comes with shelves, chalk boards, and electricity is provided by the ReStore. The organization hosting the event will bring the other necessary equipment, food, and happy workers. If you are part of an organization, or you know of one, that would be interested in using the brat stand for your fundraising event, please contact the Executive Director.
